Shabby Charlotte doll - Alma

A new Shabby Charlotte Halloween doll.  Her name is Alma.  I will be listing her on ETSY later today -  clarehelen

I really like how she turned out.  Her dress is made from an old vintage slip and Richard found her little heart shaped stick on the ground next to the car when we were in Petaluma.  He saw it on the ground next to the truck and thought it would be something I could use with one of my dolls.

 

Alma is a very quiet little doll . . . but don’t let that fool you – she loves to make friends and loves to be around people.  She likes candlelight and chai tea - and grinning jack o’ lanterns always make her smile.  Her favorite holiday is Halloween.   It is a holiday that seems to suit her personality . . . a little dark and a little mysterious.  Alma tries not to let things scare her, but of course sometimes they do . . . that is when she realizes how important it is to have people in your life who care about you.
