I love the idea of the "Elf on the Shelf." Lily has her own little elf this year, and gets so excited every morning with what her elf has gotten into . . . but I also like my little Christmas Skeleton & Elf shenanigans. All in fun of course . . . I am very fond of my vintage Christmas elf.
I think my orthopedists office staff would get a real kick out of these shenanigans. They had all his bony body part models out for Halloween and one of these little skeletons to greet you at the front door. Of course, when I broke my foot and he wanted to show me on the model they had to look all over the place for it. Your elf is very good-natured to play along with the skeleton!
