Take me out to the ball game . . .

NLCS - Game 3 . . .
. . . and what a great time we had in San Francisco.  Richard and I would have liked the Cardinals to win, but just being at the game was great!  Being at a baseball game beats being at work any day.  Of course the Giants fans were happy - but it isn't over yet.  Let's go Redbirds!
I really didn't take very many pictures yesterday . . . I find myself wishing I had taken more - but then sometimes it is better to be too busy having fun.

on our way home . . .

The ride home included a drive over The Golden Gate Bridge . . .
. . . where you may see all kinds of things.
 A drive through San Francisco . . .
. . . and a stop at our favorite outlet store.
The Adidas outlet happened to have tons of stuff on clearance . . . so we came home with a bag full of goodies.

. . . and our usual stop at Casa de Fruita.  I like stopping here anytime, but especially in the Fall.  It is not possible to drive by a giant pumpkin patch when you have me in the car . . . but then Richard knows that.

I guess all these posts about cover our weekend . . . and I guess I took quite a few pictures . . . it took me a few days to share them all.  Here it is Wednesday already - almost time for another weekend.  :)

A day in the city

We drove up to San Francisco this week . . . one of my favorites cities.  We saw these (senbazuru) at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park - a perfect place to drop some of my cranes.  (hopefully I will get some responses from some of them.)
A trip to San Francisco always call for a stop at Jack's on Fisherman's Wharf . . . for a beer
 . . . and a shrimp cocktail.
We found this little bar called the Black Magic Voodoo Lounge . . . from the outside it looked questionable - but we just couldn't walk by without checking it out.  It turned out to be a great little place.
and the bathroom was great - this mirror . . . purple walls . . .
. . . and this reminder (which I happen to need)

Hello San Francisco

We spent Saturday in San Francisco - on our way home from Novato. I love going there . . . We stopped and walked around by the Golden Gate Bridge, drove around the city, and ate lunch over looking the bay before heading home. We need to go back and stay awhile longer.
