good things today . . .

This has to be the sweetest cat we have ever had.
He also is the only cat that I have had that seems to pose . . .
. . .  and wait until I am finished taking pictures of him.

I was going to throw this pair of jeans out since they had a hole in them, but they are the only pair of jeans that I have that I really like . . . so I am going to patch and play with them and see what I come up with.  I'm starting with stripes and an alien . . . LOL!

GOOD THINGS TODAY . . .
Walking
FaceTime with Avery & Tatum . . . I even got a smile out of Tatum
A quiet morning to myself
Timehop App . . . today's photos made me laugh
Doodling . . . Reading . . . Painting . . .
PRAYING!

"I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart.
And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.
So don't be troubled or afraid."

Prayer . . .

I am a big believer in the power of prayer.  I pray more sometimes than at other times . . . there are times when I do not pray nearly enough, and like most people probably, I tend to pray more when I need something than just to tell God thank you!  I also believe that God answers our prayers according to his plan . . . which sometimes may make those answers seem a little vague and unclear.
Then there are those times when I pray . . . and get such a quick, straight forward answer that I am left in awe.  When I turn things over to God and pray about them instead of worrying about them . . . and trust in his plan rather than mine . . . the answers to my prayers are there for me to see.  It always moves me and strengthens my faith when this happens.
When you bow deeply to the universe, it bows back; when you call out the name of God, it echoes inside you."

up close . . .

Just a few pictures that I like . . .
This last one my boss sent me yesterday.  He is out of town at a conference and he found this origami crane . . .
I have a lot on my mind these days . . . hell, I always have a lot on my mind . . . that's just the way my mind is.  But I have a dear friend who lost her sister yesterday, another close friend having open heart surgery today, and another dealing with cancer.  Life gets like that sometimes . . . it does put things in perspective . . .
