What was I thinking?

This is how I would prefer to spend my summer . . . but I am working summer school 4 days a week. WHAT WAS I THINKING???? It really isn't so bad, but I think just knowing that I could be home - in the sun with a book, a cold drink, and nothing pressing to do - makes summer school seem like torture.

Sunday Fun!

Jennifer, Sarah, and Lily came by Sunday morning . . . we ended up going on a bike ride and stopping at a park. Lily had so much fun - it is so wonderful to see her happy and having a great time just being a 2 year old. It is also wonderful to have fun on the swing for a 52 year old.

Lily Fun!

Lily is so much fun. She is getting old enough that when she comes over now - we actually get to do things. She likes to watch the "Rainbow Song" when she comes to visit. By this she means, "The Wizard of Oz". The other night - Jake was watching something on TV - so we got out my small DVD player - and she had her own private viewing going on. Anything for Lily . . . that seems to be how it goes at our house.
How I have been waiting for this . . . the fun begins!!!!!

A little more PEACE

Naiya and Matea were asking about my peace sign photos again this week. They still want to be a part of it. So . . . . Matea and her orange peace earrings!!!!

These make me laugh!!!

Lily after applying make-up. She makes me laugh without the lipstick and shadow around her mouth. Especially when she puts on these glasses.
And the size of this badminton birdie is just strikes me as funny. Jake and Kasey came home with a badminton set. Let the summer fun begin!!!

Matea's Peace Signs

This is the sweetest little girl . . . she wore her peace sign shorts just so I would take a picture for my blogs. She usually walks into the office with a book in front of her face - reading as she is walking.

Kaitlyn's Peace Sign

I have three young girls who come visit me early every morning before school starts. They saw that I was posting peace sign's and wanted to be a part of it. The next day they all came with peace signs . . . so this is Kaitlyn's contribution.

Peace on Friday!

There is something to be said about Fridays - and weekends. Love them!!!! Although I tend to have a hard time concentrating on work on Fridays. Today especially. Looking forward to the weekend more than normal I guess. I have had sort of a weird week . . . letting things get to me that I should not. So I have vowed to myself to enjoy this weekend, do some things that I have been wanting to do - and to make the most of each day. I need to carry that over into next week too when I think about it.
