Random Wednesday . . .

Just some random photos today . . . fun stuff, some people I love, and what may be the best pizza I have ever eaten.  I think we may have to go back for lunch this weekend.

more paper crane photos . . .

lunch time . . .

I spent part of my lunch taking photos of paper cranes.  These cranes will be dedicated to a young man named Kyle.  I don't have many details - other than someone heard about my 1000 paper crane blog - Peace, Love, Cranes and asked a friend of mine if I could make some paper cranes to dedicate to her brother who passed away.  I believe she is going to place them in the hospital he was in and give some to friends.  I am hoping to have pictures of them after they are given away, but if not I wanted to get some photos.
It is a beautiful day to be outside . . . although the breeze wasn't what I needed when snapping pictures.
PEACE!

late night . . .

Just for the record . . . I won when we played cribbage today.  :)

I am not sure why I am up so late tonight . . . oh, maybe it was the coffee I drank after dinner - combined with the nap that I took this afternoon.  What was I thinking? . . . although, I did get the paper cranes folded that someone asked for and I put a face on a Shabby Charlotte doll.

just some stuff . . .

Bits of this and that from my craft room . . . beads, buttons, game pieces, and of course paper cranes.  Things tend to land somewhere and stay there until I decide to use them again.   I am so excited everything is back in order . . . looking forward to working on a Shabby Charlotte doll tomorrow.  I also have a special request for some cranes that I have to work on.  Late night Sunday . . . three day weekend!!!!!

Good Day!

It has been a good day.  I was up early cooking and finishing up in my craft room.  It is clean and in order and I can actually get in there and do something and there is something about having things in order that is good for me.  We have a house full of family and friends . . . watching the football game - which is always a good time. (Even though I am not really into football all that much.)  Good Day!

SMILE . . .

Charlotte was helping me organize my craft room today . . . I actually got a few things done once I dumped out a bag of yarn and let her play.  That may be a good sign . . . she already likes yarn.
SMILE!

Lily Peace

Peace ~ Love ~ Walking Lily to class!
I love seeing her every morning . . . and I love that she will stop and take silly photos with me!  Her smile was so big and sweet after we did this.

fun on a Tuesday . . .

I like being out on the tennis courts after it gets dark.  There is something about the lights and the empty courts that just make it feel good to me . . . although this time of year once the sun goes down it gets cold - especially after playing hard and working up a sweat.  I think we were both just cold and tired and didn't feel like making dinner, so we decided to go out for dinner when we were finished . . .
"Spaghetti Pizza" . . . complete with spaghetti and meatballs.  Way too much food for a Tuesday night, but so good!  I am thinking it would be fun to try making this pizza at home.
I'm not sure why Tuesday turned into such a fun night out - but why not!

Monday Surprise . . . .

Our nurse surprised everyone in the office this morning with these very special treats.  She made the little glass serving dishes out of different items she bought at the dollar store.  She glued together a candle holder, another flat candle holder, a cup, and a glass knob (that she bought at Lowe's).  I am going to have to make some of these.  I think they would also be great made out of old mismatched dishes.  I do believe it is time to a trip to the dollar store and the thrift store.
