more paper crane ornaments . . .

I am still making paper crane ornaments.  I am pretty sure I will end up with more than I need for my Christmas tree.  I may have to try and sell some of these.  I love making them!

more paper cranes . . . .

So I fold them . . . then fold more of them. . . and then I have to do something with them.
So I give them to kids and use them for my 1000 paper crane project . . . and for right now I seem to be obsessed with making these ornaments.
I am really going to like my Christmas tree this year!

It all starts with one little bead . . .

Jake and Kasey wanted a dream catcher to hang in Avery's nursery.  (No Avery yet, but very soon.)
I don't  think I would have ever made a dream catcher otherwise . . . and I'm not sure if I will ever make another one . . . although I do have some ideas.
All the beads on the table inspired Lily to make a necklace.  She spent the night this weekend . . . so we painted . . . and beaded . . . and read . . . and stayed up late eating popcorn and drinking root beer.
Fun Night!

I've been folding these cranes from old book pages . . . hoping to get enough to fill up a tree this coming Christmas.  I have over 200 so far . . . I think I will have enough by December.

just some stuff . . .

Bits of this and that from my craft room . . . beads, buttons, game pieces, and of course paper cranes.  Things tend to land somewhere and stay there until I decide to use them again.   I am so excited everything is back in order . . . looking forward to working on a Shabby Charlotte doll tomorrow.  I also have a special request for some cranes that I have to work on.  Late night Sunday . . . three day weekend!!!!!

B is for . . . .

B is for . . . Beads for Abbie.
My run happened to take me by the bead store today, so I stopped in and picked out some beads for Abbie's necklaces.
Be is for . . . Button ring.
I spotted this last night and had to wear it today . . . something just too cute about a plastic button ring.  I think I need to make some of these.  :)

Abbie's Necklaces

Abbie started making these great necklaces.  She is hoping to get enough made to start selling them.  I just wanted to show them off . . . I love them.  They are great for baby photos . . . little girls . . . young girls . . . and I have even seen some young woman wearing them with cute fabric flowers attached.

all sorts of stuff . . .

Charlotte ready for a walk . . .
She hangs right in there with Grandma . . . I was able to get in three miles.  She jabbers and watches the world go by . . . we stop for water, smiles, and once in awhile to take a picture.
Richard and I went out to play tennis a little later.  Saturday was a day made for tennis . . . or so we thought.

Today I was determined to get something made . . . I bought these fat quarters to use for Shabby Charlotte dolls.  I am hoping to get a few Halloween dolls listed on Etsy this week.  I would have had at least one finished and listed . . . but I got sidetracked quite a bit today.
I worked on a doll . . .
  cross stitched . . .
crocheted . . .
worked on recycled bag that I want to use for my camera . . .

Took some pictures of the necklaces that Abbie is making.  She is just getting started and wants to try to sell them.  These chunky beads are so much fun.

Charlotte loves them!
It has been awhile since the table has been covered with projects . . . maybe Stella misses the crafty project mess as much as I do.   At first she tried to fit her whole body in this box, then settled on this position before she fell asleep among the beads.  I am not sure why I couldn't settle on just one project today . . . but I made some progress on all of them and had a good day . . . a very relaxing day.  Those seem to be happening a little more frequently these days.
 Beatles Ballerina . . . love her!
