just because . . .

Yesterday was simply a fun day.
Flowers, polka dots, doodles . . . little stuff that inspired me.
 Inspiration is everywhere if you just take the time to notice.

Then there was Charlotte. . . who seemed to think painting her face at preschool was a good idea.
  She was as wound up and silly as she could get last night.  Grandpa had gotten her some strawberry ice cream for dessert . . . maybe that was why.
She told him that the ice cream must have made her crazy.

Valentine Charlotte

Finally getting pictures posted of Valentine Charlotte . . . this little doll was a present for my granddaughter.  I have been so busy I'm not getting the dolls made that I have in my head . . . and that frustrates me.  But it looks like things are turning around.  Plus I have five orders - so that will have to motivate me. : )

Valentine Charlotte is a happy little doll that makes everyone happy.  She loves to smile and is very proud of her sparkly red shoes.  She likes hearts - of course and her favorite color is red.  She believes in being kind and always tries to look for the best in people.  She believes that the world always looks brighter from behind a smile.

I picked Lily up yesterday from school . . . she was wearing her polka dots!!!!!!  That made my day!  I have a lot to do . . . a zombie doll to work on, more dolls to cut out,  lists to make and post, a book that wants to be read . . . thank goodness it is only 7:00.

This window display in the Tower District caught my eye the other night . . .
Lily trying on her new robe. I was done shopping for her when I noticed the robes. I saw a pink one and a purple one and didn't really think much - but when I saw these polka dots I had to get this one for her. She makes the polka dots even more fun!

Polka Dots

I love buying coffee cups - and I love polka dots - so I could not walk past this one at Starbucks yesterday. My personality being what it is - the coffee cup makes a difference. If you are going to drink anything - be it coffee, soda, or a glass of wine - it may as well be in a great cup or glass. So this is my newest coffee cup. I will enjoy every cup of coffee I drink out of it. The aroma, the taste, and cup - all make for a great cup of coffee.
