always taking pictures . . .

I think I mentioned that I like to take pictures when we are out wandering.  

So many fun things wherever you go . . . 

I couldn't help but think of the bookstore in "The Never Ending Story" when I walked past this store.  We would have gone in, but it wasn't open yet and we didn't walk back the same way.  Next time I get to Monterey . . . I need to visit this store.

Alvarado Street Brewery . . . their beer was great!

This one was called "The Best Part of Waking Up" . . . 

. . . my kind of beer - so dark you can't read what is on the glass.  

It was one of the best stout's that I have tasted.

happy wednesday . . .

Our Summer temperatures are up around 105 - 109 degrees this week.  Since I really like the heat I don't let it stop me from walking.  I may not walk as far . . . I drink a lot of water . . . and use plenty of sunscreen.  I walked about 3 miles yesterday. The area I was in is all new housing developments - only a few signs of the more rural area it used to be.  I do believe I liked it better before.  I don't think vegetables are sold at this spot any longer . . . I almost wanted to ask them if I could have the "TOMATOES" sign.

yesterday was a great day . . .

My goal for the next few days is to relax and enjoy.  That is easy to do when you are looking out at the ocean and spending time with someone you love.  

Yesterday was a great day . . . time to get busy with today!
