colorful day. . .

My mom sorted the colored pencils . . . and I wonder why I am the way I am.

“But there's a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking.
But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begins.”

  1. I think that looks so cool! And you just happened to have jars in those colors! I love the quote.... I put my grandson in my mother's arms for the first time this weekend and she remembered me putting my son in my grandfather's lap for the first time - he had had a stroke and couldn't talk, not with real words, but he cried and she made me cry, and almost everyone else in the room.

  2. Ha - this made me laugh.I spend (waste) far too much time reorganising my pencils into the order they came in. But I love rainbow of colours compared to a random mix. What great jars to store them in - that would instantly eliminate a lot of my time of rearranging the tins/boxes they came in. Must think about this!!
