summer stuff . . . .

Reading . . . reading . . . reading . . . I love the extra time I have in the Summer that I can spend reading.  I think a trip to the book store is in order though . . . I am nearly done with these.
Lily and I have a Summer bucket list . . . we can now cross off "getting a pedicure" and going to lunch.  I am going to have to add "a trip to the bookstore to that list and take Lily with me.
Lunch with the girls . . . I love when they are together.  Charlotte tries to keep up with everything Lily does . . . and they get so extremely silly at times.  I LOVE SILLY!

"If you hear a voice within you say, 'You cannot paint,'
then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced."
~ Vincent Van Gogh

  1. Sounds like you are having a wonderful summer. How great that you get to spend time with the girls creating memories. Your cards are so colorful and fun.

  2. Books, books, books - my kind of summer :D. Thank goodness for the library. I'd be interested to hear about the Harper Lee one - I heard so many mixed reviews that so far I haven't put it on my reading list. I just love To Kill a Mocking Bird, it's one I re-read annually.

That pink flower is gorgeous - makes me think of a ranunculus. But even more, I like that bottom picture with the tapestry background and old-fashioned looking posy.

    1. I love "To Kill a Mocking Bird" too . . . and reread it also. I am just finishing up "Go Set A Watchman". I don't think it is anywhere near as good as "To Kill a Mockingbird" . . . even with some of the same characters. I started it not anticipating it to be as good . . . I think that helped.
      Have a wonderful day!
